Clothing Collection January 2017

Clothing Collection for People made Homeless by Conflict in the Middle East – January 2017
Autumn collections of clothing and essential humanitarian supplies made at St Giles’ and Central Methodist Church were successfully delivered to Kirkuk in Iraq to help people fleeing from Mosul and to Syria. This project was undertaken in partnership with St Luke’s Anglican Church in Leeds under the auspices of the Samara’a Aid charity with a total of 1800 boxes of aid sent from the Leeds Regional Hub. This January, a similar collection is being made until Saturday 14th January with aid leaving Leeds in the last week of January.
